This South African sci-fi romp sees a colony of insectlike aliens living in a Johannesburg slum. When a Un-style peacekeeping force arrives to evict them, it leads to disastrous consequences for officer Wikus van de Merwe (Sharlto Copley). Fast, fun, and surprisingly thoughtful, with some of the most enjoyable alien weaponry ever brought to screen, this is an imaginative and dramatically turbocharged film.
