Man without a penis violated two girlfriends with object
A MAN without a penis used a mystery object to violate two women who thought they were having sex with him, a court has heard.
Carlos Delacruz, 35, insisted all lights were switched off before the encounters so he was not seen naked, then caused his victims “extreme pain”.
The women were also left suffering from thrush, Edinburgh Sheriff Court was told.
Delacruz, from Banknock, near Falkirk, admitted penetrating both women with an unknown object without their consent when he appeared at the court on Tuesday. He was added to the sex offender register and will be sentenced in September.
It is understood Delacruz is a Spanish national currently undergoing gender reassignment, who received legal recognition as a male in the courts of his home country. His identification documents, including passport, all say he is a man, a source confirmed.
The court heard that the victims had thought he had been born a man.
Fiscal depute Kirsten Cockburn told the court Delacruz had been in a relationship with both women between May 2013 and May last year. She told the court the first victim “believed she was being penetrated by his penis. The accused does not have a penis. She knew he was self-conscious about his body and always wore a T-shirt”.
The couple had sex around once a month, despite her suffering “extreme pain” and only being allowed to touch his body “over his clothing”.
She reported him to police when she learnt of the deceit in May 2016.
However, he then entered a second relationship in August that year, again failing to tell his partner he had no penis. The couple had sex around 10 times during their nine-month relationship. Delacruz was again reported to police when she learnt the truth in June 2017.
Cameron Tait, defending, said he would reserve his full mitigation until sentencing.
