Melania in remote control of which channel to watch

MELANIA TRUMP will watch “any channel she wants”, her spokesman has said, following reports that her husband was furious her television was tuned in to CNN.

The US president reportedly ordered all televisions on Air Force One to be set to Fox News, his favourite network, after finding his wife’s television was showing CNN on their recent trip to Europe. The Left-leaning news network is often critical of Mr Trump and his administration.

According to the New York Times, Mr Trump was furious and caused “a bit of a stir” aboard the presidential jet. An email exchange between White House officials seen by the paper ordered that all TVS be tuned to Fox News.

When Stephanie Grisham, Mrs Trump’s spokesman, was asked about the matter, she told CNN that the media should instead focus on issues such as neonatal abstinence syndrome, which the First Lady has sought to highlight.

“Seems kind of silly to worry about what channel she watches on TV (any channel she wants, by the way) or if she heard some recording on the news.”
