Bombardier gets £12m state funds

Aircraft manufacturer Bombardier has been given £12m of UK state funding to develop new parts for its airliner which was at the centre of a row with the US last year over alleged illegal subsidies. Chancellor Philip Hammond announced the money for the Bombardier plant in Belfast which he said would secure jobs in the region.
