Nike gets a ticking off over LDNR campaign
A £10 million Nike advertisement featuring Harry Kane and Sir Mo Farah breached a London-based clothing label’s copyright, a judge has ruled.
Activewear label LNDR complained about the global sportswear giant’s “Nothing Beats a Londoner” campaign, aimed at 16 to 24-year-olds, which included its “swoosh” logo with the letters LDNR above it.
Granting an injunction against Nike, Mr Justice Arnold said there was a “likelihood of confusion”.
