There’s nothing like a pot of yogurt on the face

-

sir – Eating yogurt? Why stop at that? (“Is everything you thought you knew about yogurt wrong?” Features, July 23.)

For many years now, I have used simple, plain, full-fat Greek yogurt to clean my face morning and night.

Why? The lovely creamy consistency and the high fat content mean that it has the ability to float away all trace of make-up without drying the skin.

It contains no chemicals and is unadulterated – just milk, cream and cultures, unlike the majority of the skin-care ranges whatever their price.

There is no point paying a high price for something that is so transient in use. Yogurt does as good a job as the branded cleaners, if not a better one, for a fraction of the price. Sue Ajax-lewis
