Renault puts the brakes on Iran amid sanctions

Renault is set to withdraw from Iran as US President Donald Trump’s renewed sanctions against the country weigh on the European carmaker. The comments came as Renault reported vehicle sales rose 9.8pc to 2.07m cars in the first half of the year.
