‘Ordeal by Innocence’

SIR – Now that charges against the actor Ed Westwick have been dropped (report, July 28), the BBC could let viewers see him in the original recent version of Ordeal by Innocence, having replaced him before judicial process.

The irony of the title of Agatha Christie’s story may have been lost on those who have effectively decided his future as an actor. Charles Foster
