Whoever Heard of a Black Artist? Britain’s Hidden Art History BBC FOUR, 9.00PM

 This documentary follows black British artist Sonia Boyce as she curates a new exhibition at Manchester Art Gallery. The aim? To show how black and Asian artists have shaped the face of modern British art. “It’s as though we’re in plain sight but invisible,” Boyce explains, adding that their work was sidelined. “I really thought that we were going to change the world,” says one artist.
