Vivendi is considerin­g selling up to half of the shares in Universal Music Group, in a move which could net it more than €10bn (£9bn). UMG is the biggest music company in the world, having signed artists such as Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande, above, to its labels. Vivendi said it had ruled out a float in favour of bringing in strategic partners.
