VW expects hit from challenges

Shares in German carmaker Volkswagen dipped more than 3pc yesterday after it warned on the “great challenges” of tariffs and emissions tests it expects to face in the coming months. VW said revenues were up 3.4pc to €61bn (£54bn) in the period between April and June as it delivered a record 2.8m vehicles.
