Turkey accuses US over sanctions

A senior Turkish official has accused Donald Trump of jeopardising the longstanding ties between Nato allies Turkey and the United States by allowing sanctions on two Turkish ministers over the detention of an American pastor.

Andrew Brunson, an evangelical pastor from North Carolina, is on trial in Turkey on espionage and terror-related charges.
