Reading’s Dialog on M&A hunt

Reading-based Dialog Semiconductor is eyeing up possible acquisitions, after talks with touchpad tech company Synaptics broke down earlier this week. Dialog has been seeking to reduce its reliance on Apple amid concerns the iphone maker will ditch the company to produce its own power management chips in-house.
