Closure hits Millennium & Copthorne profits

Millennium & Copthorne’s profits slumped by 22pc in the three months to the end of June, coming in at £39m, after it closed its hotel in Mayfair during the period. The hotelier said its revenue per available room was down 15pc in London, with four fifths of that decline from the Mayfair closure.
