BALMORAL CASTLE August 6th The Queen arrived at Balmoral Castle today, was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of Aberdeenshire (Mr James Ingleby) and then inspected the Royal Guard found by Balaklava Company, The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, 5th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland.
BUCKINGHAM PALACE August 6th The Countess of Wessex, Patron, today visited the Association of Sail Training Organisations at Haslar Marina, Haslar Road, Gosport, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr Nigel Atkinson).
BUCKINGHAM PALACE August 6th The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, today visited the Isle of Wight and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant (Major General Sir Martin White).
Her Royal Highness, Royal Patron, National Coastwatch Institution, this morning visited Needles Station, Upper Battery, West Highdown, Totland Bay.
The Princess Royal this afternoon visited Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust, Bouldnor Forest Centre, Yarmouth.
Her Royal Highness later visited the Royal National Lifeboat Institution Station, Watch House Lane, Cowes.
The Princess Royal subsequently visited the Royal National Lifeboat Institution Inshore Lifeboat Centre, Clarence Road, East Cowes.
Her Royal Highness, Admiral, Royal London Yacht Club, this evening attended a Reception at the Parade, Cowes.
