‘Heartbreak’ at loss of BBC radio presenter, 41
A BBC radio presenter has died suddenly at the age of 41.
Vicki Archer, who co-hosted the afternoon drive-time show for eight years on Radio Shropshire, was hailed by colleagues and her family as an “extremely talented broadcaster” and “a great presenter and journalist”.
The circumstances of her death, announced on air at 3pm yesterday, are unknown. David Jennings, a BBC West Midlands programme head, said: “We are heartbroken at Vicki’s death.”
