1996: Humble beginnings
An only child from Brighton, Katie Price began modelling as a teenager, posing topless for Page 3, aged 16, as “Jordan”.
2001: Political ambitions
Having gained tabloid notoriety, Price stood in the 2001 general election for Stretford and Urmston, Greater Manchester, offering free plastic surgery. She received 713 votes.
2002: Modelling to motherhood
with Manchester United striker Dwight Yorke saw the birth of Price’s first child, Harvey. Yorke initially denied being his father, until a DNA test proved otherwise.
2004: Reality bites
A stint on I’m a Celebrity introduced her to Peter André, whom she married in 2005 flanked by six white horses at a Cinderella-themed ceremony. That Bestseller: Price is a successful author year, buoyed by her currency as half of reality TV’S golden couple, Price tried her hand at Eurovision, though failed to win a place.
2009: Marital strife
After five years and two children, Junior and Princess Tiaamii, Price and André split. She went on to marry Alex Reid, a cross-dressing cage fighter, in 2011 before they parted the following year; her third marriage, to former stripper Kieran Hayler in 2013, produced two more children, Jett Riviera and Bunny, both four.
2018: Page turner
Now one of the richest authors in the world, Price has written six autobiographies, 11 novels, one fashion guide, and children’s stories, earning £26.9 million in book sales. Luke Mintz
