Jumpin’ Jack Flash (1986)
SONY MOVIE CHANNEL, 9.00PM ★★★
As one of the first films to feature online communication as its main storyline, this lightweight comedy now feels slightly dated. Yet, Whoopi Goldberg is fun, as ever, as Terry Doolittle, a bored data-entry worker at a bank. One day, she receives a message from a spy (Jonathan Pryce) on the run from the KGB, thrusting her into the middle of a global espionage operation. It is also Penny Marshall directorial debut.
