Women get more of a lift from comfort than sexiness

-

Hello, boys! Thought your other half chose her underwear to impress you? Well, think again! According to new research carried out at a university in Brazil, ladies tend to choose bras for comfort rather than attractiveness.

“A woman’s favourite bra is not necessarily considered to be a beautiful product,” concluded the study of 182 women. “Favourite bras are pleasant to use, allow them to relax and keep them in control of the situation. Positive emotions are triggered mainly by the functional aspects of the bra.”

Damn right! Is there anything better than a piece of lingerie that doesn’t dig into your boobs, cut into your shoulders or chafe under the band? I have never, ever chosen a bra based on what a man might think of it, and if

I do go for a “sexier” design, then its purpose is to uplift me, not my husband.

As a former paramour once said to me: “The only thing I care about when it comes to a bra is how easy it is to get it off.” As is so often the case, the woman maketh the bra, not the other way around.
