No interest in rate rises in Turkey

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said yesterday he would “not fall in the trap” of increasing interest rates despite the dramatic depreciation of the lira. The so-called “enemy of interest rates” said: “We won’t be fooled by this plot.”
