‘Obsessed’ model stabbed his rival to death in face-off

A MALE model who was “obsessed” with copying the look of a rival was yesterday convicted of his murder.

George Koh, 24, is facing a life sentence after stabbing Harry Uzoka to death when he became jealous of his success, the Old Bailey heard.

Koh copied Mr Uzoka’s “look”, his Instagram feed, and even boasted that he had slept with Ruby Campbell, Mr Uzoka’s girlfriend and fellow catwalk star.

Koh was warned by Mr Uzoka to stop imitating him in heated social media exchanges. The two came “face to face” during an organised confrontation in Shepherd’s Bush, west London, on Jan 11 this year. Mr Uzoka, 25, recruited Adrian Harper, his flatmate, and the pair were armed with a dumbbell bar each.

Koh, meanwhile, had a knife in each hand and was accompanied by friends Merse Dikanda, wielding a machete, and Jonathan Okigbo, a personal trainer, both also 24. Mr Uzoka was knifed in the heart by Koh before he fled back to his flat in Camden, north London. Mr Harper escaped unharmed.

Dikanda, of no fixed abode, was also convicted of murder while Okigbo, also of Camden, was found guilty of manslaughter. They will be sentenced on Sept 21.
