Norwegian minister quits over Iran holiday

Per Sandberg, Norway’s Right-wing fisheries minister, quit yesterday after breaching a security protocol when he went on holiday to Iran with an Iranian-born former beauty queen.

The deputy head of the antiimmigration Progress Party, part of the ruling coalition, admitted that he had travelled to Iran in July with his girlfriend without informing the prime minister’s office in advance.
