Journalist Audrey Gillan has been recording her conversations over the last few years with two people she has come to know as her neighbours, living rough on the streets of Spitalfields, one of the most well-heeled areas of London. Tara and George are both in their late forties. In this series the conversations cover what led them to the streets and why they are still there, beginning with an introduction to their relationship with each other, a point of stability in the ever-changing and potentially dangerous environment they live in.
