Bitcoin letter bomb suspect charged
♦ A man angry at a website which would not change his password sent a letter bomb to its offices, charges against him have revealed.
Prosecutors charged Michael Salonen, a 42-year-old Swedish citizen, with attempted murder for sending a letter bomb to a bitcoin company and over threatening letters he sent to two dozen officials in Sweden, including government members, Swedish authorities said.
The letter bomb, sent in August 2017 to Cryptopay, a London-based bitcoin company, did not reach its intended recipients and the device never detonated.
