Responsible freezing

SIR – I have just had a new fridgefreezer delivered. Under the heading “Foreseeable misuse” in the instructions (Letters, August 16), there is a warning that “storing live animals” is forbidden.

One wonders how many people have returned this model as “not fit for purpose”. Marjorie Richardson
