Boyle quits 007 film due to ‘creative differences’
DANNY BOYLE has stepped down as director of Daniel Craig’s final James Bond film just four months before it was due to start production.
A statement from the franchise said the decision was due to “creative differences”.
The 61-year-old Oscar winner had been set to take charge of 007’s latest outing, with a script by John Hodge, his regular collaborator.
A statement on Twitter yesterday declared: “Michael G Wilson, Barbara Broccoli and Daniel Craig today announced that due to creative differences Danny Boyle has decided to no longer direct Bond 25”.
Boyle’s representatives made no comment as to the nature of the differences.
