Children killed in attacks on Chechen police
Five militants, aged between 11 and 16, were killed in attacks on Chechen police on Monday.
The attacks in three locations in Russia’s predominantly Muslim Chechnya left several policemen injured.
Isil has claimed responsibility for the attack in the regional capital Grozny.
The violence indicates the Islamist insurgency remains active in the province despite the authorities’ claims that it has been eradicated.
