Polymetal cashes in on gold boost

Polymetal reported a 40pc jump in pre-tax profits to $210m (£163m) in the six months to June, on revenues up 16pc to $789m. The FTSE 250 company was helped by an 11pc increase in production and gold prices that were on average 6pc higher during the period. Polymetal is busy ramping up its Kyzyl project in Kazakhstan.
