Exports helped by weak pound

Manufacturers are growing at a “strong” pace as the weak pound boosts export orders, the CBI said.

Its survey found 13 of the industry’s 17 sub-sectors expanded in the past three months. “Manufacturing growth remains strong, supported by the lower level of sterling and strong global economy,” said the CBI’S Anna Leach.
