Diploma in FS Cables buyout

Technical products specialist Diploma is to buy cable maker FS Cables for £18m. The FTSE 250 firm said St Albans-based FS would be immediately “earnings enhancing”. The company, which employs 62 people, made a profit of £2.7m on turnover of £15.4m in its last financial year. It supplies rail, marine and telecoms sectors.
