BA and Air France halt Iran flights

British Airways and Air France said yesterday they would halt flights to Iran from September, months after Donald Trump announced that he would reimpose sanctions on Tehran.

British Airways said it was suspending its London to Tehran service “as the operation is currently not commercially viable”.

Air France said it will stop flights from Paris to Tehran because of “the line’s weak performance”.
