Biting back Sessions snub for president after criticism

Jeff Sessions, the US attorneygeneral, rebuked Donald Trump yesterday after he criticised him in a Fox News interview. Mr Trump repeated his hostility to Mr Sessions for recusing himself from overseeing the Russian inquiry. Mr Sessions said his department would not be “improperly influenced by political considerations”.
