House of Fraser reopens closed warehouses

House of Fraser is reopening warehouses closed after disagreements between the chain’s new owner Mike Ashley and the operator of the sites, XPO Logistics, Drapers has reported.

Alex Williamson, the chief executive of House of Fraser, wrote in a letter that distribution centres in Wellingborough and Milton Keynes were expected to be working again as of yesterday.

XPO is owed more than £30m by the recently rescued department store chain.
