Reality star died after poisonous frog ceremony

A reality television star fell to his death from a Colombian waterfall weeks after experimenting in tribal ceremonies with poisonous frogs and toads, an inquest heard.

Joe Tilley, 24, from Leicester, who appeared on the US show Jungletown, fell to his death in May after saying he was going to “find a shaman”.

An inquest in Leicester heard he had experimented with drugs and taken part in ceremonies involving poisonous frogs and toads.

Catherine Mason, the senior coroner, said he had smoked cannabis and could have been “suffering from some kind of psychosis”. She concluded his death was accidental.
