UK’S tech ‘brain drain’ to Silicon Valley

Britain faces an artificial intelligence “brain drain” as Silicon Valley raids its top universities for talent. Research by The Daily Telegraph found around a third of AI specialists who have left the UK’S leading institutions such as Oxford, Cambridge and Imperial are now working at Silicon Valley tech firms. Just one in seven have joined British start-ups. It comes amid growing anxiety over big technology’s ability to lure professors and graduates with higher salary offers.
