Steam-powered nit

sir – Christopher Howse (Television, September 3) complains that the steam-powered roundabout shown in ITV’S Vanity Fair has electric lights. If he wants to pick nits he should be brave and pick a big one. The first steam-powered roundabout didn’t appear until 13 years after Vanity Fair was published.
