THE ENTREPRENEUR
“The tech scene is generally pretty relaxed,” considers June Angelides, the founder of Mums in Technology, a business which delivers coding courses to women in other organisations. While her small company might foster a more casual office environment, she says that entrepreneurs like her spend a lot of time pitching for investment, or meeting external influencers and her wardrobe needs to match the flexibility. Throwing a statement jacket over the top tends to do the trick. “I could turn up to some companies in jeans and a T-shirt and fit right in, but if I was at a talk or meeting at a large corporate in the city, then I might add my Calvin Klein boyfriend blazer or wear a dress.”
