Spurs’ Lloris was ‘more than two times over limit’
Hugo Lloris, the World Cup winning goalkeeper, was allegedly over twice the drink-drive limit when he was stopped on suspicion of drink driving.
The 31 year-old French international, who captains Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur, is due to appear at Westminster magistrates’ court on Wednesday.
According to court papers, he was found to have 80 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when he was stopped on Aug 24 in the West End. The legal limit is 35. Lloris was halted by police at 2.10am by officers carrying out a routine stop.
