Poland to beef up Nato ranks in east

Mariusz Blaszczak, Poland’s defence minister, says a new division of the armed forces will boost the country’s presence in the east.

The move to bolster Nato’s eastern flank may be a sign that Poland is uneasy about Russia, which today begins its largest war games since the Soviet era.
