Saudi princess robbed in Paris

A Saudi princess has reported the theft of £700,000 worth of jewellery from her room at the Ritz Hotel in Paris.

The theft on Friday is the second jewel theft reported at the five-star hotel on Place Vendome this year. Police sources said the gems were not in a safe at the time.
