Timetable changes
SIR – With regard to your report on timetable changes (“Ministers would not listen, insists rail boss,” September 7), I told the Telegraph that “there was too much noise and not enough people listening” when explaining why I had not raised the issues relating to the late rail timetable before its implementation in May.
You have taken “the people” to mean the Government. However, I was referring to the collective rail industry, which is made up of the train operating companies, the rolling stock companies and Network Rail. David Brown
