Internet effect

Mental health problems among the young have risen six-fold since the advent of social media, a study shows.

University College London, Imperial College London, the University of Exeter and the Nuffield Trust tracked trends from 1995 to 2014. They found that those reporting “a long-standing mental health condition” had soared due to the growth of the internet.
