Corbyn aide blocked Pass to work in Parliament denied
One of Jeremy Corbyn’s closest aides has been denied a pass to work in Parliament on the advice of the security services.
Iram Awan, the Labour leader’s private secretary, has not had her application approved as it is understood that security checks have still not been completed, Huffpost UK reported last night.
Ms Awan, who provides “strategic advice”, has to be signed in as a visitor and escorted on a routine basis by other members of Mr Corbyn’s team.
