Thrill of the chase

Theresa and Philip May watch the television quiz show The Chase at Chequers during the filming of a BBC Panorama programme. The Prime Minister has been interviewed six months ahead of the UK’S exit from the European Union on March 29 next year. Speaking to Nick Robinson, the BBC reporter, as part of the programme, Mrs May insisted the focus should be on the Brexit debate and the country’s future, not her own position. Her comments were reported days after Tory MPS opposed to her Brexit plan met to discuss how and when they could force her to stand down, with Boris Johnson being tipped to replace her.
