Dog walkers pushed into river by road-rage cyclist

-

Police are appealing for witnesses after two dog walkers were pushed into a river by a road-rage cyclist.

The man and woman were out with their pet at around 9am on Sept 1 when they were shoved into the water at Lullingstone Country Park in Eynsford, Kent.

The male dog walker asked the cyclist to get off his bike on the path, but the cyclist pushed past him. The victim then pushed the suspect and the man shoved both him and his wife – who attempted to intervene – into the water. Both walkers were treated for cuts and bruises.

Police say the cyclist was between 50 and 60, white, 6ft tall with grey hair.
