First of the summer wine

Workers pick pinot noir grapes for this year’s vintage at Aldwick Estate, Redhill, near Bristol. The award-winning vineyard – Somerset’s largest with 11 acres of vines – is undertaking its earliest harvest since 1982 thanks to the hot and dry summer.
