Immemorial age

SIR – Veronica Timperley (Letters, September 14) found an online menu for date of birth going back to 1868. Registering online to use my Fitbit I was amused to find the date of birth options only went back as far as 1959.

I am 81 and have just won a Penguin March badge for walking 70 miles in the past month.
