Those flattering fit-and-flare midi dresses were still there – and in just the right shades of red, mauve and baby blue for minimalists who find themselves having to dress “pretty”. But now she’s adding pared-back tailoring to the mix, plus Pilgrim-collared blouses. For me, it was her cape dresses and bow-backed floor-length gowns – in lime and bubblegum pink – that suggest she’s set her sights beyond The Season. She should go far.
