Penguin power
SIR – It is disconcerting to learn of the existence of a Penguin March badge (Letters, September 18) as a reward for walking a commendable distance.
I have always thought penguins, particularly in any quantity, curiously sinister and inexorable creatures. It is easy to picture armies of emperor penguins marching shoulder to shoulder in a bid for power. Neil Sewell-rutter
