Tunisia 2014

Attended a conference on Palestine and a controversial wreath-laying ceremony at a cemetery in October 2014, following an invitation by Beji Caid Essebsi, the Tunisian president, whose government covered the costs of the visit. He stayed in the five-star Le Palace hotel in Tunis for two nights. Lord Sheikh, a Tory peer, declared the trip in the Lords’ register.
